Cardinal Funding Services, Inc. was founded by three friends who independently recognized the growing need for working capital in small businesses. This idea, traditionally known as factoring, was popular in the hey-day of manufacturing throughout the Carolinas. The basic premise of factoring is the acceleration of invoice payment by a third party to a business that can ill afford to wait the “standard” sixty days to be paid by a large customer.
Based in Charlotte North Carolina, Cardinal Funding Services was created to serve companies primarily in this region of the United States. The three principals of the company have extensive experience in banking, finance and receivables management. All are veteran business executives who identified factoring as a way to serve the types of companies that they previously served throughout their business careers.
